Our Story
In 2020, during the height of the Covid19 Pandemic, Kristine began constructing humongous gingerbread-like decorations to decorate the exterior of her house to make it resemble a life-sized gingerbread house. Her goal was to bring joy and holiday cheer to her neighbors in her community during what was globally, a very challenging time.
Six years later, and The Gingerbread House in Kyle is going strong. In fact, our beautiful neighbors get into the festive spirit, too. With food drives benefitting the Hays County Food Bank, and Free visits with Santa and Free Hot Cocoa, we have had the fortune to share many laughs and loves with our neighbors! We truly look forward to seeing all of you every year, and making merry gingerbread memories!

Texas’ Favorite Santa
Throughout the season, Santa Claus comes to visit The Gingerbread House in Kyle. During these events, Santa is available for FREE pictures with your children, friends, and family!
The Gingerbread House in Kyle has partnered with the Hays County Food Bank for these events. During these events, we ask that canned goods and non-perishable food items be brought to be donated to the Hays County Food Bank.
During these events, we also offer FREE Hot Chocolate and Peppermint Candy to the community to help keep you and your family warm while meeting Santa!
